Hi everyone! Today I’m happy to bring to you a review of the Eye-Con palette from IMAN. I’ve already written about their cream foundations (here) and now I’d like to show you some of their eyeshadows!
Hi everyone! Today I’m happy to bring to you a review of the Eye-Con palette from IMAN. I’ve already written about their cream foundations (here) and now I’d like to show you some of their eyeshadows!
On the
front panel of the collection it says, “From runway to red carpet to real life,
now every woman can be an icon with this fabulous palette…inspired by the
legendary looks created for Iman by her celebrity makeup artist.”
This
Eye-Con Collection has twelve colors, an eyebrow pencil, one eye pencil and a
sponge tip applicator. Each trio of eye shadows has a different name and are
coordinated to match one another. There’s the famous smoky look, some neutral
golden tones, a trio of warm greens as well as some cool violets. All of the shadows have a satin finish (no
matte).
This palette is super convenient, you can take it with you on a trip and have all of the colors and shades you might need, and of course a black eyeliner which is always a must. Pigmentation wise, all of the shadows aren’t the same, some are very pigmented like the medium to dark colors while the light colors are more sheer.
Unfortunately the black is one of the dark colors that failed me. L It’s too sheer and not as silky as the others. I also recommend that you use an eye primer when using these shadows; regardless of their silky texture they don’t seem to have any stickiness to remain on your skin.
I really liked the black pencil that comes included; its super dark has a nice creamy texture and it blends nicely. However, be careful to not put it on your waterline because it can run and cause a mess! Been there, done that!

All of these colors are lovely, but wow , Edgy Emerald is my favorite!
